Low-elevation, north facing mostly shady tour, also passable in summer. From S.Ambrogio follow the Deacon Martino cycle path (entrance after the small bridge in the main street of the village) through Chiusa di San Michele to Vaie and then start climbing with a constant gradient of 10% and more for a few km to the La Mura hamlet, which you cross for an initial stretch of fairly stony path to Borgata Folatone. Path 504 then widens and softens, passing below Borgata Molè and then a small path through the woods to Bennale; take a track in the meadow that soon becomes woodland and cross a small bridge (at Fontana Roc Bert) over the Rio Pracchio, continuing uphill for a stretch. You reach near Borgata Pian Pomè and turn immediately right, then reach Basinatto from which sent. 503 fixed cobblestones until you return to the cycletrack.
