Description
The route starts at the Campo Imperatore cable car.
For the first few kilometers, the trail follows a ski run that starts on level ground, then descends gently to the roundabout with the toll gate. The rest of the route is mostly flat until the end of the Canyon, where a 600–700-meter climb brings you back near the main road. Along the marked route, I found only one drinking fountain, so be sure to bring enough water with you.
