Monte Mario Carosello

Start from the Sasso Marconi station parking lot and ascend by trails to the Monte Mario saddle and from there proceed to the summit of Monte Mario (short push section). First short but intense descent with ascent to arrive just before the Commenda. Turn right and after a few switchbacks, a nice trialistic passage on rock and then take Nuvola Rossa.Steep, technical passages on rock, compressions and climbs. You arrive on the road to Badolo, turn right to go up to Battedizzo and then to the Monte Mario saddle. Go up to the Commenda and take the nice traverse parallel to Via delle Orchidee and then go back to Via delle Orchidee and follow cai 110.

Follow the loop back to Exotic Fauna and then back to the crags and take the "Secret Trial" trail with nice steeps and technical rock passages and you'll reach Badolo. Take a right to climb up to the Vagabunder trailhead, another classic trail in the area; smooth, but with some nice peppery technical rock passages! On the road to Battedizzo you return to the crossroads and then take the low trail to the Mugnano meadows. Last descent the new Cypress trail (on the right) which is really spectacular with steep (one nice tough one) and wall ride, jumps up to the ganzole road near the Albano bridge and from there to the parking lot.
