Corna Vecchia - Val di Pura - Limone sul Garda

A technical but incredibly rewarding tour on Lake #garda. We start from Limone sul Garda, more precisely from the lakeside parking lot, which is spectacular, especially when we return at the end of the tour. In our case, we parked a bit further upstream, because as it was still tourist season, parking on the lake was at a premium. However, this is an ideal route for the milder days between November and March, when lakeside parking is usually free and free.

From here we start the ascent to Vesio, then take an old military road: a scenic and fascinating section, with a couple of tunnels carved into the rock that are definitely worth stopping for a few photos. At one point we leave the asphalt to tackle a short section with bikes on shoulderq that leads us up to the bivouac just before Corna Vecchia, a fantastic location for a lunch break with postcard views. Then the real fun begins: the descent. Follow the GPS track (impossible to get wrong). The trail has only short S4/S5 passages, but overall I would call it an excellent S3, smooth and technical to the point, perfect for those who enjoy challenging but smooth riding. Good adventure!
