Parafulmine, Sparavera, San Rocco
Very challenging loop trail between Farno, Sparavera and SanRocco, beautiful views and descents. Ascent on comfortable asphalt (or for emtb from this one, more fun) Arrived at the Farno plateau we pedal on very comfortable dirt road and stop at the Parafulmine refuge..
From here begins the first descent that will take us to the Oat Fields, very scenic but also technical S3. As an alternative to this section it is possible to do the less technical and scenic trail (part of this track). Given the effort of this track we continue to Malgalonga on a very nice dirt road (or follow the more technical and challenging S3). With one last effort we climb to the bench and then to the Sparavera cross with views of Lake Endine and Lake Iseo.
From here it's practically all downhill, we first descend on pratone S1 looking for the most or least technical passage (depending on one's taste) and then get to the very last descent S2, a fast mule track with a lot of boulder and various roots that if taken at the right speed can become challenging. We climb back to San Rocco and then descend by descent S3 quite rocky .
MTB: Yes
EMTB: Yes
Duration in emtb about 6h
Difficulty ascent: always manageable
Difficulty descent: S2/S3
Drainage: best to wait a moment after the rains
Alternatives to this trail: this one that avoids the central S3 descent; This one is a good cue for the climb.
