Monte Poieto super trail

With today's route we play at home, one of the most fun, longest and best prepared trails in our area, the Seriana Valley; if you are in these parts it is a must to ride it, you will not regret it!

Let's start as always with some technical data: distance: 16 km - time on the move: 1.50 hours - total elevation gain: 900m - maximum elevation: 1320m - cycleability: 100% - suitable for MTB XC/AM/ENDURO.

Leaving the car in San Fermo, a village above Fiorano al Serio, in the province of Bergamo, the climb begins immediately with a first quite steep section on a cemented road, then going, after about a kilometer, on an asphalt road with an even gradient.

After about 8 km, having arrived in Ganda, the toughest but most scenic part of the climb begins; the road alternates between cemented and path with high gradient sections.

When you arrive at the Monte Poieto refuge, rest and refresh yourself to prepare for a trail as fun as any!

In the first part of the descent, we descend along a meadow that will take us to the first fun single track, the most challenging and at times technical, but 100% doable.

Arriving in Coldrè, after about 300 meters, the second trail begins; a trail specially prepared for mtb, very fun, at times with a lot of slope, but always very flowing; turn off your brain, take your hands off the brakes and get it to the end!

Once in Orezzo we continue with a couple more nice trails that will lead to our starting point!
