Spizhorli da Simplon Dorf con discesa dalla Mageliche

A Simplon classic with downhill variation from the more popular Bistine Pass. Start from Simplon Dorf and climb to the Pass via trails and small roads. Pass Egga, Engiloch to reach Alte Spittel and then the Pass alternating between sections of the Stockalperweg and small roads closed to traffic. Now point to the Hopsche huts to take the trail to the Üsseri Nanzlicke pass. You now climb more decidedly on mostly rideable trails (except for a very short initial section) in a beautiful high mountain landscape. When you reach the col you enjoy the majestic panorama s then climb to the right the trail that leads to the summit.

You descend from the ascent route (short, fun variants possible) to return to the Col and take the easy Nanztal trail. We follow it past the depressions that lead first to the Nanzlicke Pass and then to the Bistine Pass. We continue further and aim for the next pass. The Magelicke allows us to return to the Simplon side. The trail in the first section is not very obvious but with a little intuition it can be found. It leads first to a fantastic plateau and then continues ever so beautifully to Gampisch. From there we follow the Stockalperweg back to the car as happy as kids at Luna Park!
