Bocca di Scala, Serra di Corfino, Fonte dell' Amore e Leone 70 da Villetta

Tour with a first part decidedly all mountain and a second part in the Garfaland trail area.

From Villetta we climb in the direction of Japan via dirt road until we reach Corfino. Still going uphill we head towards the Orecchiella welcome center, we pass it until we reach the big fountain where we turn right onto the road that with Il Fungo sign leads to Campaiana. Reaching the saddle we begin to lose altitude until we reach the small village now used as a vacation home. Still descending, we go to recover at about 1320 meters of altitude the forest road that leads to the Bocca di Scala refuge, where it is possible to refuel with fresh water.

After a restorative stop we resume our walk and reach the Airone 3 path corresponding with the Cai 64 coming from the Passo Monte Vecchio and directed to Orrecchiella, which we will follow until we arrive under the Serra di Corfino the two paths divide and where we decide to continue along the Cai variant that crosses precisely the Serra. In the first part we have to alternate between pedaling and some pushing, and once we reach the summit elevation a short but very enjoyable descent begins that takes us back to the Campaiana saddle again. Having crossed the road we take the Airone 1 trail towards Pania di Corfino.

Just before reaching the trail turns left and reaches the houses of Campaiana where it continues towards Corfino passing by the Fonte dell'Amore. From here on, the all mountain part ends and a second, more playful part begins via the Garfaland trail area, ending the tour on the last variation created, Lion 70.
