Pontecosi Pania di Corfino

Challenging ride on Garfagnana roads and trails. Ascent to Orecchiella Park on dirt roads and a few sections on asphalt. Continue to climb always on dirt road to Sella di Campaiana at an altitude of 1440. From here begins a rideable trail to below Pania. To get to the top, however, we have to push the bike for a few hundred meters (roughly 200/300 meters). The descent initially a bit challenging (for about 300 meters) then becomes smoother.

When we reach Campaiana, we take the San Pellegrino mule track that will take us to Corfino. This mule track is almost all rideable. After Corfino, a few trails await us until the village of Giappone. From here dirt roads and asphalt to get to Villa Collemandina,Castiglione di Garfagnana and Lake Pontecosi.

Very beautiful especially with the fall colors.
