Lacona

Beautiful and for us unprecedented compilation in Lacona, on the isla d'#elba. We start from Marina di Campo and climb up the forest road that arrives just below Monte Tambone. Then to the right for the beautiful trail that descends to Laconella (with ascent and final trail), a very scenic single track quite flow (some steep and medium difficulty passages).At Laconella by secondary roads you reach Colle Reciso (of Lacona) and by the GTE forest road you arrive at the attack of an unprecedented, very flowing descent: Il Molino. Flowing and fun descent that arrives just above Laconella before the little church of Madona di Lacona. Here you take a left on a trail that climbs gradually between olive groves and points to the Colle delle Vacche (you leave it to the right) and arrives on the GTE.Here turn left and you reach the attack of Serra del Pero. Beautiful and technical descent that alternates flowing sections with technical passages on rock and stone, always with breathtaking views. When you reach Laconella you climb back to the GTE passing by the small church of Lacona and repeating the beautiful path already made to GTE. On the GTE you continue leaving colle S.Martino on the left and arriving at the attack of the last trail: the Gualdarone. This trail is also technical, but smooth with a few peppery but never extreme passages on firm rock and loose rock towards the end. You arrive at the Colle di Procchio, point to Procchio (excellent ice cream shop) and return by asphalt to Marina di Campo.
