Al Santuario di Conche a Nave
Nice all-mountain ride in the mountains north of Nave to the sanctuary of Mount Conche, recommended year-round ride.
From the parking lot we head towards the center of Nave, after the parish church on the left in Monteclana street, in the locality Piezze the asphalt ends and the small road (go straight) cemented/gravel road begins, which with very steep tears takes us to the locality Sant'Antonio (small church). We continue further, after 200 meters on the left dirt road to the Broli farmsteads, after the first small house on the right uphill on a rough and steep path (13 minutes pushing) then less steep and almost always in the saddle until the Cocca going up the whole Listrea valley. At Cocca (trail junction,go straight) dirt road to right first slightly uphill then slightly downhill. At the fork left,at the next fork right,200 meters uphill, after a meadow with farmsteads trail left uphill to the Calone farmstead, immediately afterwards right on steep cemented road. At the fork straight ahead to the beginning of the path that steeply uphill but rideable takes us with the last 5 minutes push to the sanctuary of Conche, highest point of our itinerary.
Refreshment options every weekend of the year plus the full months of July and August.
Descent: descend into the meadow below the entrance to the sanctuary and take the path to the right on level ground towards Cocca, descend carefully, at a junction turn right on small road, at a shrine with water turn left on fast path to Cocca, found asphalt go left and 100 meters later left on small road uphill to a farmstead, leave it on the left on path until you come out in the meadows of Sant'Onofrio. On the dirt road we go left to the little church, to the right of the little church the narrow path #434 in the direction of "Nave" comes off, we take it, pass a hunting lodge downhill and staying on the ridge to the right we come to a fork, turn left on narrow path on the flat, then downhill under 2 Enel pylons staying on the very scenic ridge. After a hut at a fork we go right downhill until we come out on a small road, we cross it paying attention to a narrow path that descends into the unmarked woods, keeping to the right we come out on a paved road, now right uphill, at a fork we turn right uphill and at another fork we turn left on a dirt road on the level, then uphill and then flat again, we enter the pine forest and with a fast path at altitude and then downhill we arrive at the parking lot.
