Passo del Cavallo e Val Bertone

We present a ride with flakes between Val Sabbia and Val Trompia that will keep you busy to the last meter and transport you to an aosi of spectacular beauty with first-rate trails.

We leave the car in that of Caino (BS) and climb on asphalt for about 2 km in the direction of the S. Eusebio shores. We deviate to the left for Val Bertone where the Garza stream flows. Suggestive and singular environment but beware that soon the gradients will become serious and we will have to give it our all. A few short, fast pushing sections then back in the saddle until we reach Passo del Viglio. From here on left path slightly downhill then a 2 minute push section to reach the climb to Cocca di Bione. Perfect now rest and then first very nice descent on firm then loose rock with some magnificent canyon sections until reaching the entrance of the next climb to Piani di Lo. From here another magnificent pedaled trail with a last hard section to reach the Sanctuary of San Vigilio. Breathtaking views and finally the second descent begins. First steep, then in traverse then from the Passata della Crocetta begins the most interesting and intense phase where some passages will engage you, but never extreme. A final relaunch and then we reach the Horse Pass. We catch our breath and face the last few tears and then a traverse until the entrance to the third and last descent. From Pian di Baione in fact we deviate to the right with the beginning of the trail not easy. So it gradually improves although there will be some non-trivial passages. We will end up on the Popes trail and at this point open gas to return to Cain with a smile on our faces. What do you think ?
