Monte Palo in cresta e Rifugio Nasego
We return to Val Sabbia in the land of Sonny Colbrelli and right from his home we tackle the climb to Rifugio Nasego then the summit of Mount Palo. The descent? On the ridge and with unique views of the valley.
We leave the car in Briale (BS) and climb towards Lodrino on a paved road. Shortly after we will see the detour to the left for the Nasego refuge. After the church of San Silvestro begins a beautiful dirt road that will take us in the direction of Cocca di Lodrino where at that point the hard climb begins. With the assisted bike it is obviously more rideable and apart from very few fast sections we will reach the Nasego refuge. Here I recommend a stop before continuing to the summit of Mount Palo. We will face a challenging final section where you do not need to shoulder but with a series of zig zags you will gain the summit. Now the views will be spectacular. After a proper rest we will prepare for the descent. It will be technical on the ridge where you need to be well concentrated. Then reaching the basin before the refuge we will deviate to the right so we will take the trail you will see in the video hovering on the side of the mountain. We will reach Comero and from there the games will be done: last easy section and back to the starting point.
RECOMMENDED ROUTE FOR MOUNTAIN BIKE and/or E-BIKE ALL MOUNTAIN.
