Campodolcino - Starleggia - Pian dei Cavalli - Lago Bianco

Starting from the parking lot of Camping Acquamerla, after an asphalt climb to Satarleggia the road becomes a dirt driveway and you reach the village of S. Sisto. Here begins the technically more challenging section until you reach Pian dei Cavalli: the driveway becomes a not-yet-compact path with steeper slopes and some tight hairpin bends.

Past the last houses at Toiana Alp it is easy to encounter marmots.

From here the path becomes smoother again, and going along the whole plateau you reach Lake Bianco.

On the way back descend to the left, after a few switchbacks the path becomes a driveway and, after the hamlet of Ca' Raseri, paved. Reaching the hamlet of Isola, take provincial road 1, which in a few kilometers of descent brings us back to the starting point.
