Sulla cresta del Magnodeno

Extremely scenic but equally technical tour that will take us to the top of Mount Magnodeno. We start from Lecco Maggianico and ascend on asphalt to piani d'Erna from where we take the cable car that will take us to the top of bocca d'Erna. From here a long traverse entirely on trail will take us to the summit of Mount Magnodeno. The traverse passes the Fo pass and two refuges (closed in winter).

With good training and technique you will pedal 70-80%, alternating uphill and fun downhill sections with some challenging passages to be tackled in the saddle while the sections that you cannot do in the saddle for the most part are pushing except for the last 100 meters before the summit where you are required to put your bike on your back.

From the top begins our interminable and spectacular descent for long ridge sections On the descent there is little to say except that it is extremely technical from start to finish, occasionally some nice flow sections are there but if you are not in possession of a good descent technique you will do a lot on foot: constant S3 with many S4 passages some exposed

From Erve you have to make a small transfer for the last part of the descent that will be less pissed off but not to relax too much. Those who like this kind of trail will not be disappointed at all.
