Bellagio (CO) - Colonno, M. Galbiga, Bocchetta Di Nava
Departing from Bellagio, we cross the lake by ferry, which takes us to Cadenabbia. On the state road we head towards Como, to reach Colonno, turn right and start climbing for a few hundred meters on asphalt, after the last houses the real climb begins. A very steep driveway mule track, with short stretches for refreshment and exaggerated views, weather permitting.
Having reached Alpe Di Colonno, we continue on the military road in the direction of M. Galbiga, from the top of which, given the clear day, we enjoy an exceptional view. Having taken the customary photos, we descend to the Venini refuge for a slice of cake, then set off on the traverse that will take us below Monte Crocione, where we begin the not difficult, fairly clean descent to Monti Di Nava.
We turn right to head to Bocchetta Di Nava and begin the descent that will take us to Cadenabbia, this one very challenging, due to quite ruined path, with two landslide sections, but surmountable and, not least the 'exposure that can be frightening. Arrived in Cadenabbia a beer and a sandwich, and then cross the lake and return to the parking lot. Tour done by ebike.
