Anello passo Scaparina

Counterclockwise tour with very steep and other flowing sections and nice descent to Brugnello. Start from Bobbio on asphalt to Ca' Borelli, then scenic flat section to Valle. Now asphalt climb up to above Santa Maria then steep section up to the little fountain under Mount Penice, 2.4 km at 15.6% very challenging due to stony ground. Now flat dirt section then short climb to Scaparina pass. Short asphalt then descend to the refuge on path in the pine forest.

Continue on undulating panoramic dirt road then descent to Collegio. Short ascent on dirt road then undulating and endless descent to the Trebbia via Brugnello with spectacular views of the river loops. Very short climb then asphalt road to the start.
