LAVINORES MUNTAJELA DE SENNES REMEDA ROSSA
FANTASTIC CYCLOAPINISTIC TOUR in Sennes Braies park with conquest of 3 peaks .
Start from Podestagno parking lot and with bitumen climb to Ra stua refuge . From here dirt road and settled path until the junction to Lavinores peak that we will reach by pushing shoulder after a first pedaled part. Hyper-panoramic summit in one of the most beautiful places in the dolomites. Descent back without particular difficulty. We continue now to the Sennes refuge and then again to a smaller refuge where the path to the top of the Muntajela begins. First section with good pedaling until below the steep part. Shoulder and push up to the top passing through a section with steps that will not be cyclable downhill. Once at the top we are at 2 and immediately start back up with a challenging beginning then easy until the stretch nn cyclable. Back in the saddle and fast up to the hut.
Now we head towards the Biella refuge and at a hairpin bend we leave the dirt road and take the path that leads to the lake de Gran Foses with first nice downhill part and then an eat and drink with nn cyclable sections . Once again in the saddle we descend to the small lake and go to face the Little Red Croda . ( recommended only for those who want to tribulate a little ).
From the lake the trail is barely visible but on grassy ground then we start to climb on rocky slabs with poorly marked path where it is easy to lose the right direction. Past this section of 150mt 200 elevation gain you are on the summit part and here tt improves. I stopped at Remeda Rossa because the thunderstorm started and I did not consider it safe to proceed up to Little Croda Rossa. The trail definitely grants its ascent and descent. Backtracking driving on nice plato I returned to the rocky crags that as before waste time and orientation (few cairns).
Passed this section with some sporadic bike ai back to the pass and on fantastic trail back up to Ra stua.
With rain back to the car on asphalt even if there is the possibility to go down by trail as planned...but the weather advised so.
Great outing again today and pity for a first on the Piccola.
