ENDURO DI PONENTE 3^ TAPPA: LOANO ED IL MONTE LINGO

We continue this long journey toward the west and as the third stage we climb toward Monte Lingo with breathtaking views in the finish toward the sea.

We start from Loano in Borghetto Santo Spirito and climb toward the Poggio on asphalt. Upon reaching Scravaion Hill the Dondella dirt road finally begins. With a final push also in Walk mode, we reach the summit of Mount Lingo at 1,102 meters where the views will be magnificent. We descend from the summit and make our way to the wind turbines where we can finally rest. Let's get ready for the first part of the descent, which will be on the Il Conte trail. Beautiful, fast, steep but also Rock n' Roll with intense but all guided passages until the little church of Madonna della Guardia. Here the music changes and the La Contessa trail begins. Very wild the entrance and narrow in the continuation, I will be much more hostile with some relaunches and some interesting steep passages. Now begins a transfer section on asphalt and then dirt road until we reach uphill to the Sanctuary of Monte Croce. Now let's get ready because we start about 4 km of ridge trail with reduced pedalability but unique beauty. We will have to face first Monte Acuto then to follow Monte Croce. Once past this section away on a very intense descent on firm and then loose rock with steep sections before reaching the Borghetto DH trail that will take us back to the sea area then to the starting point. What a ridge descent ....without words. Spectacular!
