Pietra Ligure: verso il Carmo e ritorno

From Pietra Ligure go up the secondary road to the hamlet of Ranzi, from here continue through Ranzilandia and continue on the firebreak to the entrance of the climb to Cabanun. Turn right and continue to the beginning of the Dog Eat Dog trail with entrance to the right of the firebreak. Inviting start, looks nice flow, then goes over rock, steps and various switchbacks, very fun trail with exit along fence of a villa and arrival at Giustenice. Descend to the right at the exit until you reach the next intersection at the entrance to Ranzi and turn right.

Via asphalt to a parking area where you turn right again and climb to a small hamlet. Another right turn and continue uphill going back to the forestry road we took on the first part of the climb. After the hairpin bend from which the ascent to Cabanun begins, keep left at the next fork and enter Blu Pervinca, a faintly visible entrance to the right of the forest road. At the end of the forest road, return to Ranzilandia and at the crossroads where we find a bench, take the Hay Trail back to Ranzi and from there return to Pietra.

The trails are part of the Pietra Ligure Outdoor area, are well maintained and have level S2 to S4.
