Tibet trail
Nice classic tour with very technical descent that requires very good nosepressing skills. You start from Trafoi and do 45 switchbacks (if you start from Prato allo Stelvio it is 48 if I am not mistaken) to the pass. All along the ascent you can see the north face of the Ortles. The average gradient of the climb is around 8 percent, with peaks up to 12 percent, so nothing too challenging, only the altitude, and consequently the thinner air, can play some tricks for those not used to it.
Once you get to the Tibet refuge you push the bike for about 10 minutes and then start to descend on a very nice trail that, however, needs to be approached carefully, as in some places certain passages are very exposed. Once you get into the woods the exposure drops a lot, but the difficulties increase and some nosepresses are really challenging.
