Monte Misma
We can title today's ride as "worst ride of the year."
If you don't like to carry your bike on your back, or if you don't have a good e-bike move on to the next route, otherwise enjoy your reading...
Distance: 26 km - time on the move: 2.30 hours - total elevation gain: 1100m - maximum elevation: 1200m - bikeability: 70% - suitable for MTB AM/ENDURO, but mostly E-BIKE.
For convenience we started from Gazzaniga (BG), but you may well skip a piece of the road and leave the car in Albino.
Taking the road to the "shoe point" begins the interminable climb that will accompany us to the cross of Mount Misma.
It is only 5.5km of trail, but with gradients up to 35%; as anticipated earlier, if you do not own an electric, forget about pedaling it for a good 50%.
Initially it alternates cemented to fairly flat path, but only after about 3km it becomes a path with high gradients, the difficulty increases if to ride it you are in seasons such as autumn and winter, the presence of numerous leaves on the ground will make it impossible for you to pedal.
Arriving at the cross, the descent begins for a duration of 6.5km with a path of mixed difficulty.
Initially it is quite challenging, with some technical passages, sometimes you will need to get out of the saddle; as you lose meters of altitude the trail will become faster and easier until you reach the center of Pradalunga.
Now to return to your starting point you can go through the villages, or opt for the bike path, but a hair longer.
