Valmalenco - Chiesa-Tornadri-Chiesa
Start from the Curlo district and hang the well-marked path that, after an initial stretch between old houses, between narrows and a few steps, continues into the woods. As soon as you leave the village and leave the last houses, there is a short, very exposed section, on stones "stuck" in the mountain wall: very impressive, but to be walked with some care. From here, begins an endless series of "up" and "down" in the woods, with very suggestive sections, some short flow parts and many parts with technical and steep climbs, which in my opinion are not too rideable. As far as I am concerned, I went down pushing many times even if for short sections (except on a couple of occasions where the pushing sections were a few hundred meters).
Along the way there are several signposts and detours: upstream you can climb to Alpe Ponte (non-pedalable trail), downstream you will find detours to Lanzada and its hamlet Vetto. All very well marked. Continuing straight ahead, however, the trail winds up and down, sometimes challenging, sometimes fun, always in the woods and encountering several buildings: old farmers' houses and old barns. The last stretch is a lot of fun: slightly downhill and very flowing, but it ends with a steep staircase on the road in the hamlet of Tornadri.
Continue a few tens of meters upstream using the road and then turn right, cross the very narrow alleys of old Tornadri to a very steep staircase that leads to a bridge that allows you to cross the Lanterna stream. From here a beautiful downhill section on a single track surrounded by green meadows that then becomes a comfortable dirt road to Ganda, (hamlet of Lanzada) past which you continue to Chiesa Valmalenco on the comfortable, crowded and boring Valmalenco bike path.
