Giro degli Argini
This route crosses the plain between Pistoia and Prato following embankments, bicycle paths, and roads with little traffic.
We start Quarrata in the parking lot of Villa La Magia (a Unesco Patron Medicean villa) and after a short unpaved section we ride along country roads (and the only short climb of the tour) and then embankments until we reach Pistoia, go around the city following the Ombrone River and back towards the center (which is definitely worth a visit if you are tourists), after a few stretches of bicycle path and paved road we take the Bure embankment that leads us towards Agliana, left the embankment we then reach Montale and via bicycle path we cross Montemurlo and arrive in Galceti Park. From here always on bicycle and pedestrian paths we arrive at the Cascine di Tavola Park and then back towards Quarrata crossing the Querciola Reserve.
