PASSO BREGN DE L'ORS (TN)
The start of this route is from Carisolo, but you can safely start from the large parking lot in Pinzolo, in front of the lifts. The climb is quiet with a few slightly more challenging ramps on asphalt with almost no traffic. The road becomes dirt and you arrive at the Malga Bregn de l'ors or Bandalors, from the local dialect "bear trough."
The next concrete ramps are hard but doable with good leg.At the Pass, if the weather is okay, the Brenta Dolomites show themselves in their splendor and you can even catch a glimpse of the XII Apostoli Refuge.
After a well-deserved stop, we backtrack a very short distance and begin a nice traverse where the guest of honor is the Adamello on the other side of the valley. Very short descents on the ski slopes until intercepting fabulous single tracks that on April 09, 2023 are in amazing condition. The trails are Circinnà and Cavradoss; if you follow the trail it is impossible to go wrong. After a short relaunch we arrive at Sant'Antonio di Mavignola and descend for a very short stretch on the secondary road that leads to Pinzolo until we intercept the beautiful trail that, cutting the road itself, takes us back to the valley.
Last short stretch slightly downhill and we are at the cars. The downhill trails are not difficult, but there are a couple of points where care must be taken (reason for the 4-star rating). At the link short photo report of the hike.
