Crinale Valtrebbia - Vald'Aveto

This is a ride with 5-star views, you are always on the ridges: going towards the Trebbia Valley and returning towards the Aveto Valley. Start from Cerignale counterclockwise toward Oneto where the hard climb to Monte delle Tane begins on a dirt road that is steep in places. Now slight downhill path but quite challenging, at the pass a few minutes pushing through the narrow path then widening and pedaling up and down to the demonte Veri pass.

Right for 1 km then left long climb on dirt road to Mt. Dego church. Slight uphill path then downhill to the unmanaged Foppiano refuge. Continue 500 meters then follow the path to Lovari downhill, in places you have a little trouble following it because the yellow bolts are put for those going up. Now white road to Vicomezzano then with long panoramic asphalt road, you pass Vicosoprano, Orezzoli, again the pass of Mt. Veri and, before Cariseto, you take the Cai trail to Casale, really beautiful view of the Aveto valley. Ascend on asphalt to Cerignale with a trail before the village.

Challenging and quite difficult tour but no steep descents.
