Monte Poggio alto e downhill Monte Armelio

Very challenging ride with rocky and difficult descents, beautiful view from the summit of Mt. Poggio Alto. Ride of 8 that crosses at Marubbi.

Start from Perino and with nice dirt roads you get to Boioli crossing the pine forest, continue to climb to Marubbi then Gavi on asphalt. Now very ruined and steep dirt road, you pedal quali all the way to a level then the last km is very ruined and you push at times. At the pass left on path and, with short pushing sections, climb to the top of Poggio Alto, very nice 360 degree panorama. Difficult rocky descent then in the woods go right with path cai 153 of Mount Mangiapane.

Short ascent then very rocky descent to former asbestos quarry then undulating to asphalt. Short ascent, short dirt road, and climb back to Marubbi going right to Mt. Armelio. Challenging descent on downhill trail to state highway. Water at Gavi fountain, passing it.
