LE TRE "PIETRE" DELLA VAL TREBBIA

Itinerary to discover Pietra Perduca, Pietra Parcellara and Pietra Marcia in the middle Trebbia Valley in Piacenza. The start is from Perino, where there is no shortage of parking. Short climb up to Donceto then relaxing asphalt road along the Trebbia. Start uphill with hard sections following the Trail delle Pietre signs until Pietra Perduca. Short climb to the Oratory under Pietra Parcellara and nice transfer to Pietra Marcia and first short descent.

With a loop we return to the Pietra Marcia Saddle and this time we will descend on the other side. At the beginning of the trail on April 15, 23 there are 4/5 fallen plants to overcome with push bikes, but no big deal. Be careful because the trail is quite steep. Arrivedat the paved road, short ascent of about 500 linear meters and near a large boulder on the left among the scree the Pietrail begins.

The trail is, especially if done the first time, very challenging, with lines that you see only after you pass it. As of April 15, 2023, the trail is perfectly passable although the wooden structures (bridge and jump ramps) are not passable. The return is on the dirt road that runs along the Trebbia.

Itinerary that can be concatenated with the descents of nearby Monte Armelio on the opposite side of the Trebbia.
