Monte Pizzocolo da Toscolano Maderno

Very challenging itinerary, both for the long climb with very tipid sections and for the descent on narrow and technical trail. Beautiful view from the top of Pizzocolo over the whole lake of #garda on clear days.

From Toscolano up the beautiful Cartiere valley, then a very steep section to Gaino. Then up the valley again and turn left to Archesane and Passo Spino on very steep road. From here on first wide then narrower trail up to the top of Pizzocolo with pushing sections.Go back on the same trail to Spino pass, then take the trail to the Pirlo refuge with refreshments. Turn back and take left on the Thieves (or Lodroni) trail, narrow and technical, with several climbs, to Fobbiola pass. Then more trail and forestry to Paper Mill Valley, one last trail, Paper Mill Valley and back to the start. For experienced and trained bikers only.
