Il Pizzocolo e la valle del Singla con il Pedrosso

We return to raid Mt. Pizzocolo with spectacular views of #garda Lake. This time downhill we add a bit of technical and finish on the Pedrosso smosso. Be prepared to sink the forks all the way down.

We park near San Michele above Salò (BS) and climb up to Pirello on the classic dirt road, already featured in our other routes. It will not be a walk but nevertheless the slope is smooth. When we reach Pirello we continue to the stable of Passo di Spino. Here we turn right and continue on mule track to the Due Aceri bivouac then a short push and we will be on top of Mount Pizzocolo. Photo opportunity, well-deserved break and we start to descend. First stretch back down to the junction for Singla Valley. Starts a challenging section of about 1.5 km with firm rock and borderline passages, I would say very tough. And for gourmets it will be a treat. Once we reach Ortello di Sopra we will have a stretch of cemented and mule track to Sant'Urbano. From here short stretch of trail in the woods then Buelino pass and saddle and the famous Pedrosso begins. Initial flow then slightly technical and finally bumpy enough to float the Mtb up to San Michele. A few meters and we will be at the cars.
