Description
Rather challenging route for the long ascent to Black Lake from Merano, with steep sections, but very satisfying and fun for the downhill trails, although one must possess excellent riding technique.
From Merano you climb by asphalt to the Tschigg farm, from here a long forest road climbs to the Almboden crossroads and then to the beautiful Black Lake (refreshment). Here take the scenic trail to the top station of the cable car and then 33, which descends steeply to the valley.
Alternatively, the very beautiful and challenging 29, which starts at Black Lake.
Itinerary that can be done year-round if there is not too much snow on the road uphill
