Forcella di Monteneve e passo Giovo
Particularly challenging itinerary, both in length and elevation gain and technical trails, as well as a half-hour bike push to the Monteneve Fork. On the other hand, you pass through beautiful and wild places, fabulous high-altitude mountain views of Europe's highest mines.
You can start from Merano or St. Leonhard to cut a piece. You go up the Rombo road, then via forestry and trails to the Monteneve hut. From here in about half an hour you climb to the fork, then a challenging and very long descent to the Ridanna valley and stop at the mine restaurant for lunch and ebike recharge.
Then down the Ridanna valley and up the Racines valley to the start of the lifts. From here go up the sledding track to the mountain restaurant and then up again to the pass. From very long descent to Merano, via trails, forestry and bike path.
