Description
A beautiful day of biking on trails and roads in the 5 Terre. We climbed from the Grazie (on the road just before Portovenere) with views of the little church of San Pietro, the islands of Palmaria and Tino then passing through Campiglia to arrive at the shrine of Madonna di Montenero. We then went down to the sea at Manarola for a nice swim right in the harbor of the second of the 5 Terre. The particularly clear day allowed us to see distinctly La Gorgona, Capraia, Elba and Corsica.
