Monte Paularo
Route with ascent on asphalt and dirt road and only last trail to the top of Mt. Paularo, descent on trail and ups and downs on not very cyclable trail to Malga Culet, descent on dirt road to trail along the Chiarsò, very pleasant to the valley.
Start from Paularo and climb up the asphalt road to Castel Valdaier, take the ascent to the left that soon becomes a medium gradient dirt road until near the summit of Mount Paularo, which is reached by a short path that is not very cyclable. Descend along the same and take the left CAI 406 trail that descends abruptly to continue up and down with a grassy sod bottom and rock outcrops, not very cyclable but with very pleasant views of the valley to the north. Long and with two climbs it leads with the last fun descent to Malga Culet, where it crosses the new cartroad that closes the loop near Casera Ramaz. It descends to the right and it is in vain to look for the path that breaks off from it to descend to Casera Foranc and continue to the Chiarsò near Las Callas, due to crashes dating back a few years and recent logging work. Continue on a dirt road for a few km until you take the path along the Chiarsò stream, which is exposed in places and has non-bikeable spots, very enjoyable and of medium difficulty, leading to Paularo.
