Description
If conditions are right, you can ride from Villabassa to the Tre Scarperi hut completely on #snow. The route is very scenic and fun, especially the path down from the refuge, one of the most beautiful in the Dolomites.
From Villabassa you arrive in San Candido on the snowy bike path. From here you go up the path on the orographic right side of the Sexten Valley and then take the snow-covered road up to the Tre Scarperi hut. (refreshment)
The trail down to the valley is really fun, both in summer and winter.
You return to San Candido along the cross-country trail or on the same path as on the way up.
