Da Villabassa a malga Cavalli sulla neve

Itinerary on #snow, but also doable in summer, very challenging for extreme climbs. With normal bikes you have to push for about an hour, with e-bikes and good riding technique you can pedal completely. On the other hand, the views are spectacular, especially on the beautiful Croda Rossa di Braies.

From Villabassa you climb up the very steep snowy forest road to the Putzalm and then to the Capro Pass. You descend on trail into the Braies valley, climb on snow to Ponticello and from there to Malga Cavalli, with very steep sections.

If the snow is hard it is possible to ride with e-bikes. At malga Cavalli, usually open in winter, there is a fantastic view. Descent on the same road and then through the Braies valley.

Doable with hard, aged snow.
