Val Venegia sulla neve con varianti impegnative

Beautiful tour of Val Venegia in winter on #snow, with spectacular views of the Pale di San Martino. This tour with variations is only to be done when it hasn't snowed for a long time, so that snowshoers have well beaten all the side trails that are not beaten right away and the snow has turned and is nice and hard.

On the other hand, if it has snowed recently, better to do the classic tour, which you will find under the name Val Venegia winter fat biking.

Compared to the classic tour, this one is also all on snow.

From the parking lot, after a stretch of forestry, go up the trail on the hydrographic left of the Vallazza stream. When you reach the parking lot, follow a nice path on the left of the snowy road to the Venegia malga.

Before the malga Venegiota, go to the right of the rio and follow the snowshoe trail (this is to be done only if well beaten, because further on there is a steep section where you will have to push the bike for a few minutes, with e-fatbike instead you can pedal almost all of it) You then return to the main trail and, where possible, cut the hairpin bends.

You arrive at Segantini, descend to the lifts and then to Juribello, and here you take the left (if beaten), very nice path through the woods that goes all the way to the forestry lumber yard.

From here, after 100 meters on asphalt to the left, take the nice path to the parking lot.

Short but challenging route to be done only if technically prepared and experienced in snow riding, preferably with e-fatbike.
