Prato Piazza e monte Specie sulla neve

Fantastic route on #snow (can be done in summer anyway), with great views of the Dolomites and very fun trails. To do it on snow you have to wait at least two weeks after the last snowfall, so that the snow is hard enough and groomed by hikers. The route is not very long, but quite challenging, also depending on the snow conditions and how groomed the trail to Monte Specie is.

It is ideal to ride it by ebike, preferably fat or plus, so that you can pedal all the way up without having to push the bike.

From Ponticello it goes up to meadow square for the sledding track. From here it reaches the Vallandro refuge and then Specie Mountain, with magnificent views toward the Three Peaks and the Dolomites.

It then descends to Prato Piazza on a beautiful snowshoe trail, then to malga stolla and again on a beautiful trail to Ponticello.
