Nova Levante e Carezza sulla neve

Beautiful itinerary on the #snow, doable even in summer, in the presence of the Dolomite massifs of Catinaccio and Latemar, with a tour of Lake Carezza.

Best done a few days after the last snowfall, when the trails have been groomed and in cold weather, because above Nova Levante the slope is very sunny and the snow melts quickly by mid-February.

You park for free at the Nova Levante gondola parking lot and climb up following the alpine hut trail to Nigra Pass. From here you follow the roadside trail to Carezza, passing the beautiful suspension bridge.

You go around the lake with beautiful views of the Latemar and then descend on the forest path, with technical sections, to Nova Levante.
