Poggio Grande & Valle Auzza

Interesting itinerary in the immediate hinterland of Albenga.

Departure from the center of Cisano sul Neva, excellent support for many tours of the area, but you can also start from Zuccarello. Asphalt until Zuccarello, then shortly after follow pleasant dirt road that resumes the asphalt after Vecersio to reach the hill from which the road to Il Santuario M.Croce starts.

After a few meters you immediately take a very nice balcony TA path that traverses, omitting the junction to Valle Auzza you climb to the fort of Poggio Grande with a path that is technical in places and with a very short push piece.

From the Poggio descend south side and follow the ridge until you take on the opposite side the path that traverses back, on a less obvious track, to the entrance of our P3 Valle Auzza path that descends to Zuccarello.

Initially it is narrow, then it improves and with beautiful path always to drive but never too difficult descends into the beautiful valley until you get to skirt the river with beautiful ending always flowing but technical.

Once in Zuccarello follow the road, do not follow the trail on the other side of the river!
