PROVENCE MONT AURI L'ESCARENE

Good morning bikers I insert another nice route in Provence in the famous calanques de l'Escarene and Barres des Alpes.

Start from l'Escarene and with a long asphalt climb you reach the col de l'Ablè. From here finally with a beautiful pedaled but exposed singletrack you reach mont Auri. We now descend to Luceram with a challenging and rocky first part and then easier path until the village that is really worth a visit. Again on asphalt we climb up to the col du Savel and here we take the really nice and playful path up to the basse de la Croix.

Now we climb on a steep trail that is almost completely rideable except for some rocky passages up to a col where we will take a descent to the other valley with foliage present and some linking sections where we push (little).

We reach the asphalt road and reach the other nice hamlet of Barres des Alpes. Here we take a path that will take us through the famous gullies of the area. We climb back up to the col and take a last and beautiful trail with nice technical sections at first and then gradually getting easier and more playful that takes us back to the start.

We close a nice ride in the first hinterland of Nice with nice trails and the peculiarity of the badlands.
