RIFUGIO PERNICI AND CIMA D'ORO FROM LEDRO

This time we start from Molina di Ledro or rather Mezzolago to face the ascent to the beautiful Rifugio Pernici. We climb toward Locca then Lenzumo where the ascent to the Pernici Refuge officially begins. Upon reaching Bocca di Trat we continue on this wonderful dirt road to the Pernici Refuge. We rest and catch our breath before starting the first stretch that will be a transfer where we have to be careful. In fact, behind the refuge starts the path that will lead us up to Bocca di Saval: it will be a little pedaled a little pushed and a little downhill. Now pay attention. We turn left and pass the remains of the Austrico Military Hospital then continue uphill until we reach the junction signposted Cima d'Oro. We will have a 15 to 20 minute push and shoulder section before we gain the summit admiring the spectacular 360° panorama. Well well...now begins the first downhill section ( we go backwards ) towards up to Bocca di Droamè and with a last up&down section we will finally return to Bocca di Saval. We now descend on the famous N. 454 with an impressive mix of situations where living every meter let your MTB slide. Rock n' Roll, Hard Rock, Flow, Crumble and foliage but also roots and some switchbacks with views of Lake Ledro. Once we arrive in Mezzolago, we will only have to toast the end of the tour.
