M. Pavilion via Metato

Short but intense tour in fantastic environment to be done in the mid-seasons.

The climb from Metato has some awkward inclines that put a strain on you, but it bowls us up in no time!!!

At the end of the steep climb begins the beautiful trail that up to Campo dell'Orzo is practically all bikeable,

then continues with push or portage sections up to the scenic summit of M. Piglione.

From the summit you retrace the last stretch back to return to a level path that you follow northward until descending with technical sections to the Foce del Termine.

From the pass you take the very long and technical descent to Casoli. The start is immediately technical on a not too marked trail, then a short section in a very suggestive gorge on fixed rock, and the finale in the woods always on rock, paved in places but with challenging boulders.

Blended properly you arrive in Casoli, past the village the trail descends to asphalt, but I recommend following from the parking lot a very enjoyable trail that descends into the little valley and arrives in Candalla.
