Lessinia bassa from Fumane to Sant'Anna
One of my favorite trails, doable anytime (best fall-winter-spring).
We start from Fumane (ample parking spaces to leave the car).
You go up to Molina along the beautiful via dei Progni, also skirting the famous Grotta di Fumane, on asphalt roads but with almost zero traffic.
After about 10 km uphill you reach Breonio, then turn right toward Fosse to leave (finally) the asphalt and take a beautiful forest road that will
will take you to the slopes of Mount Loffa; you are about 16 km and almost 900mt D+.
A beautiful downhill single-track begins, perhaps the most challenging of the day...watch out a few stretches to "interpret" well but once you know it it is a delight.
You start climbing again towards the "GPM" of the day, San't Anna D'Alfaedo at about 1050mt altitude...bring a backpack because you can stock up on cheese (primarily Monte Veronese) like you have never tasted !
You quickly descend to Cerna on asphalt, then begins a beautiful downhill section, very fast and in some places technical, that will take you with a few more uphill sections (short)
to San Rocco; from there to Purano and then down to Fumane passing through the park of the same name.
