Monzambano, tra vigneti e ulivi

The start of this scenic tour is in the little village of Monzambano, a beautiful hamlet located among the moraine hills south of Lake #garda, in Alto Mantovano.

From here there is a bike path that will take us all the way to Peschiera del Garda, but first there is an intermediate stop we absolutely must make, which is the old station of Salionze, where years ago the littorina used to pass through, now converted into a 4-star hotel, but which on the outside retains its original structure.

Once in Peschiera we will continue, again via bicycle paths, which alternate between white and bituminized roads, to Bardolino, passing by the famous Gardaland amusement park.

From here we continue toward Cavaion Veronese, re-entering slightly and beginning short Up and Downs, then skimming Affi and following to Costermano sul Garda.

Once in Costermano we begin the return phase, but first we head towards Rocca di Garda to face a series of descents, short but intense, in the midst of woods, olive groves and vineyards.

Once these "raids" are over, we approach our beautiful Lake Garda, to skirt it until we reach Lazise, all again via bicycle path. ATTENTION TO THE STRETCH OF BIKE PATH FROM LAZISE TO PESCHIERA, IN THIS PERIOD IT IS CLOSED FOR WORKS.

Once in Peschiera we take the Mincio bike path again to return to Monzambano.

THE TOUR IS SUITABLE FOR EVERYONE, OF COURSE YOU NEED A MINIMUM OF TRAINING AS IT COVERS A DISTANCE OF 82 KM FOR A TOTAL ELEVATION GAIN OF ABOUT 1.00 MT.
