Short and fun trail in the Illasi Valley from Tregnago

Short and fun winter trail in Val d'Illasi starting from Tregnago.

The route is mostly dirt and includes two climbs and two descents with a long traverse between Tenda and Croce del Vento. The two descents are smooth and very fun with no challenging passages.

The route is suitable for the cool/cold season, definitely to be avoided in summer.

A couple of notes on the second descent. After the section on a forest trail you come to a large house whose access is barred by a tall padlocked and impassable gate. Don't worry, to get around the house, about 20-30 meters before reaching the gate, you have to take a narrow path on the right that goes around it upstream. The track, which is very precise, helps to identify the trail. On Open MTB maps this descent is given M3-M4. The rating is absolutely wrong, this is a smooth descent on trail, mule track and dirt road of difficulty M1. The bottom is quite rocky, but there are certainly no difficulties of that level.
