Reamol ridges
We are going to retrace an itinerary that the legendary Sergio called Garda for refined palates.
Fantastic itinerary but also very exposed.
From Limone sul Garda we start our ascent with important slope towards the hamlet of Bassenega to arrive then through a fast descent to Vesio.
Here we enter the beautiful Val di Bondo and with more human gradient we climb up to the Nota Pass.
The refuge is still open today we make our first coffee stop with slice of cake, ritual photo near the cannon "dò grignade coi soci" and then off on a dirt road until we reach the Guil Pass. Here begins the first descent very nice with a couple of technical passages but mostly easy.
We descend in the direction of Passo Rocchetta. Here begins the most breathtaking and extreme part where we are literally suspended over Garda: we cross the Reamol ridge until we reach Punta Larici. (Recommended to hike some passages, also watch out for some hairpin bends in the descent to follow.)
This I think is the most spectacular point as a view of the entire Lake Garda. After uploading a considerable amount of jigs in photos and videos of the place, we picked up our bikes and continued on 422a the Larici ridges. We veered left here and then took a nice rocky trail parallel to the main road, but I think the 422a descent could be interesting.
Reached Pregasina and to finish Trout trail with some challenging passages and a very steep final descent (recommended only with dry).
From the provincial Garda consgiliato vest and rear lights we pass some tunnels and then end this tour by returning to Limone on the famous bike path suspended over the lake.
