Livigno Alpisella Trela
The Livigno classic: tour to the Alpisella and Val Trela passes, with respective steep climbs and singletrack trails.
Start at Lake Livigno and climb to Alpisella, with the climb gradually becoming steeper and more challenging. Stop at the bucolic pass before beginning the descent, initially on dirt road, then on trail past the Adda springs.
You come out at the lakes of Cancano, where you follow the level dirt road to the mouth of the Pettin valley, where the second steep climb to Malga Trela (refreshment) begins.
From the malga, continue on a trail uphill, initially steeply, to the pass of the same name, where the fun trail to below Trepalle begins.
All the trails on this route are easy, although they offer little grip when dry.
You then follow the stream to Livigno Lake. Do not follow it because the trail will become impassable with many fords. Instead, follow the trail, which will take you up the slope located on the left orographic side, with a few ups and downs, and then throw you onto the lake dirt road, which you will follow to return to the starting point.
