Sella del Serla
Short itinerary but exaggeratedly challenging uphill, with a technical and very fun descent. Beautiful views.
The climb from Lake Toblach to the Serla saddle is a forest with loose stones and very steep, minimum gradient 25% and maximum 38%. By ebike with good technique and good training you pedal all of it, with regular bike you push at least half. Arriving at the saddle, however, the view is wonderful and you ride a beautiful ridge to below Mt. Serla.
At the junction, if you want to climb to the top, it is better to leave the bikes and walk up, (the more technical can carry it on their shoulders) it is worth it because the view from the top is fabulous over the whole Pusteria valley.
The descent is initially very technical and bumpy and forces you to get off the bike then, when you reach the Puez saddle, a beautiful, faster trail begins that goes all the way to Dobbiaco.
