Monte Mario Carosello
Start from the Murri district in Bologna and by bike paths and side roads you reach Rastignano and continue along the bike path along Savena to the Junior, and turn right to go up to Sabbiuno. First asphalt and then a cavedagna that reaches Sabbiuno. Here turn left for Pieve del pino and proceed to Badolo (asphalt). Past Via delle Orchidee, turn left for cai 110 and follow the dirt road that leads to Ca di Co (smooth descent and a bit more technical before Ca di Co). Climb back up (technical climb on rock) and go back to Via degli Dei and do a first loop that you take just before the crags. Then you climb back up and after the crags you take the secret trail to the left: a challenging single track with steep steeps and technical passages on rock at times trialistic. You arrive near the Badolo tavern and take a right to climb back up to the Vagabunder attack, another classic of the area; smooth, but with some nice technical passages on rock!
On the road to Battedizzo you climb to the crossroads and then take the low trail to the Mugnano Meadows Commenta. You turn right and after a small tear, you take Nuvola Rossa. Steep, technical rock passages, compressions and climbs. You arrive on the road to Badolo, right to climb back to Battedizzo and then to the Monte Mario saddle. This time climb to Monte Mario and descend the nice sinlge track (technical) that then proceeds on the ridge with some climbing until just before the commenda. Here left to proceed cerso the Prati di Mugnano parking lot.
Last descent on the new Cypress trail (on the right) which is really spectacular with steep (one nice tough one) and wall ride, jumps, to the Ganzole road, right and follow the asphalt to Castel de Rossi and then the dirt road to Talon Park, here climb to take the Colli road and then the last single track that goes to Villa Spada and from there by bike to the starting point.
